I just received my AOR today. Pls update tracker

Location - Vancouver
Presence - 1175 days
Sent - July 15, 2019
Received - July 18, 2019
AOR - Nov 27, 2019

I already reschedule my test date and a nice gentleman entered a note in my account stating the dates that I am not available to take the exam which is from jan 6 to feb 10th. I hope Calgary office can give me a date asap lol

Hi, does everyone get an FP request? Or, do they only get it if they haven't got it done for PR application?
Do people get a test invite without ever having been fingerprinted during the entire immigration process?
Once you get a test invite and pass, is citizenship granted same day? Is the ceremony attendance a must...the reason I ask is that I live overseas and need to plan accordingly.

Not everyone has to provide fingerprints. I already got my invite and never needed fingerprints.
The ceremony is mandatory. You will not get citizenship without attending. And you get your citizenship certificate at the ceremony, NOT the day you passed the test.

I can now access my ecas *phew* but how do I link my application to my CIC account?

In progress is not a status, does your ECAS show application received or in process? Could you also update the date you received your AOR?

Sorry, I thought I had previous updated that! I got the AOR on Sept. 11th and the In progress Oct. 30th.
