I passed the test. Fairly easy - 20/20. I was there at 9:50 am. Was out by 12 noon. At the counter, I was asked to show my PR cards, passports and DL. The officer let me go in 5 min. She told me to expect my oath ceremony invitation letter in a couple of months. She also asked to bring the confirmation of permanent residency (landing document) to the ceremony.
Did they ask for proof of English language document as well? I submitted copies of my degree certificate while applying. But the original certificate is not with me, it will take 1 week to courier and my test is this Wednesday. Wondering if I should reschedule or go without the certificate? Hence asking how strictly do they ask for proof of English language? Or do they ask only if they have doubts about English knowledge after speaking to you.

So just to state the obvious you are meant to take it and may be asked for it.

But, delaying your test could be quite a delay. Going without it could be fine as some people aren’t asked for anything but others are. So if you go just be honest and it may help to start the courier process and take the receipt with a recent photo?

Is there no way to courier it in time? Assume it’s an international one but if your home country is ahead of Canada timezone wise it’s already Monday so maybe someone can send quickly?

It’s a courier from India, expected to arrive this Friday/next Monday even if it is couriered on Monday.

No, they didn’t. In the Scarborough centre, only 4 things were required: 2 pieces of ID (one with your photo and signature), PR cards, passport(s), Confirmation of permanent residency. I am assuming it would be same for all the centres. So, you should be fine.
Good luck!

Thanks, I am at Scarborough centre. Do they look for original COPR even if I carry my PR card? I have a soft copy of my COPR. Assuming I clear the exams and interview, does the oath happen the same day or I will get another date?

I was not asked to show it. But was told to carry it for the Oath. No, you will get another date.

Hello everyone,
What is Decision Made date ecas estimate?
Congratulations bro, it depends, sometimes in the very next day and some other times it delays depends on if all checks are finished.

Usually the interviewer would give you some information on this during the interview. Did he(s) mention anything on this?

Also, would be useful if you would give us information on how the test went? which websites you used for the test that were useful?

All the best.

No, the interviewer told me to wait for the ceremony letter.

I read Discovery Canada once and went through Quizlet and http://www.citizenshipcounts.ca/ flashcards and questions.

Mine updated day after. At least, it wasn't updated when I checked evening of and was there the next morning. Before 9am I think. *edit* checked, it was before 8am!

But from what I've seen it's normally 1-5 days. If they told you "accepted" and "all good" I'd probably call them after 5 business days.
You said your test date was Nov 23rd... wasn't that last Saturday? Didn't know they did them on weekends!
