No offer letter recieved! Need urgent help!

Hi, I received an email stating that my study permit application has been updated.
When i entered CIC, (applied online), they said that my application has been approved, and i received a correspondence letter stating:

"Dear ...,
Your application to study in canada has been approved. A permit authorizing your studies will be issued to you on your arrival...."

So what does this mean, shouldn't they request my passport?
Received no passport submission letter.
My passport is Indian.
Currently holding a TRV VISA FOR CANADA
I have been trying to email them for more than 2 months already and still no response need urgent help because my classes will start this January 2020.

Passport request means they want to put TRV sticker on your passport so that you can enter Canada and at airport you will receiver your study permit. In your case You already have TRV on your passport so you will not get passport request.

Hi but i only have trv not the study visa

Study permit and TRV are two different documents.each having a specific purpose. Study permit authorizes you to study and is issued at the POE when you arrive in Canada. TRV allows you to enter Canada and as you already have a valid TRV you will not require a fresh one.

Hi can clarify that i am hold a trv vistor visa and many agencies have told me that i cant go. They have told me that the embassy must request my passport so that they shall give me a trv indicating student visa. Thanks

Do one thing.. just go to Twitter and message to ircc over there and on Twitter they always reply to queries within 24 hrs.
But i am 101% sure you don’t need new trv.
