Further Medicals Required

I’ve filed my visa on November 5th and completed my biometrics on November 7th. And from then i was waiting for my visa status. But nearly after 20 days of waiting, Today i got an mail from Delhi Immigration stating i need a further medical information is required before a decision can be reached. And I’ve contacted my panel physician regarding this and they said i need to give CT Scan for some reasons. But what I’m wondering is, does this mean I’ve cleared all other sections (Eligibility, Background Check) and I’m still pending on further medicals tests and once i finish my medical tests, is my visa guaranteed or is there a chance i get refusal based on other sections even after clearing further medical tests. What do you mean for some reason? You should ask for you medical results from the doctor, you have the right to see them.

There is always a chance you can get rejected but unlikely if medical is passed.

But i just wanted to know, since i was asked for further medicals does this imply that I’ve cleared all other sections (like academic requirements, financial requirements and background check) and I’m on hold till i clear my medicals or if not they’ll proceed with other sections only after i clear my medicals ?? And is there chance I’ll get refusal even though i clear my medicals ?

No, it doesn't mean you've cleared any other sections. You can still be refused regardless of the medical.

I visited my panel physician today and the x-ray was abnormal due to mild mediastinal widening. And they suggested i get an CT Scan Normal and Contrast to rule this out. I’m giving my CT scan today, hope everything will be fine.
And regarding those previous queries for the visa acceptance or rejection was because if the VO wanted to refuse based on other grounds inspite of these medicals the could’ve rejected stating the reason with asking for my further medicals right ?? So i was just anxious that all my other sections are ok and I’m on hold due to the further medicals required.
Thanks for replying earlier. I’m tensed a lot till i get my visa and it’s due to that I’m asking all those silly queries

Hi Satya,
Even I have been asked for additional medical test. I have submitted them 3 months back. But still not update in the status. I am getting nervous on it.
Did you receive any update on your additional test? If so, how long did it take for it?
