Just think that now a days process gets completed in very short time for spousal cases. Not like 3 years or more in past days

And yes security can take sometime

Yeah that’s true ... it got better from the past
But still it’s unfair process for most cases I am March applicant and April may gets transfer and dm’s how is it even fair ...
The process is making someones life like hell

Just received pre arrival. Tomorrow i will go for my biometric. How long everything may take? Does this mean my application is checked?

I agree its not same for all as every sponsor has its individual case and its evaluated on how that individual case gets processed by visa officer, my all prayers for those who are still waiting.

But seriously this is the initial difficult time. In life there are more difficult times then this waiting. Getting married, having kids, raising kids, their studies and so on. And when u will reach an age and look back then these things will look like that they were difficult but life gave u more lemons

Everything has a time and it will be done on its time, no matter what we do or pray to get it done quickly. But we should keep on praying and stay positive so that it doesnt affect our health.

This is my experience,

I will give u an example how it takes long time in some cases security and background check and also their travel history Evaluation. If your spouse or u ever visited gulf countries or stayed there. Like KSA, UAE, OMAN and so on the process will take long. And even if your spouse or u never visited any country it can also take long to get cleared.

We r April 2018 applicant and we got DM today, I am so happy and excited wanted to share as we all are in same boat of wait, after a long and deadly wait atleast got positivity. Hope all 2018 applicants get over with this painful wait this year soon, best of luck to all.

I am April 15th applicant. I just have received an email for file transfer to LVO. However, gckey account shows that Background check and Eligibility requirement is still in process, I do not understand that what they were doing with the file so far if not checking these two requirements pending since long?

I am also 15th April applicant, file transferred to LVO today.
When you got your file transferred to LVO?
What is AOR2? and any idea about DM? what is this, as I have seen people mentioning it.

got my PPR today. i sent them a followup email as they said 10 days, and 10 days had passed yesterday.

12 months is the estimated timeline within which IRCC claims to complete 80% of the cases received. This starts from the day they receive your documentation.
