Employment letter request

hello I have applied for PR through pnp and i recently added my wife in application and now i got the employment letter request.

Due to some medical reason i lost my job and i am not working what should i do.
I do have old offer letter .

The reason why they request employment letter after you added a spouse is that IRCC must ensure that you have the ability to be economically established in the province that nominated you in order to support your family member. You can try to find another job and give them a new employment letter from the new employer. It doesn't make much sense to give them an old employment letter.

I have one question I was working in canada on work permit and my work permit is valid till 2021 now i came here in india for my medical treatment and i got email from IRCC to send the generic form again now my question what should i fill in IMM008 E form in current country of resident India or canada.?
please help
