What could be the implications of the appointment of this new minister? Would the program in any way be negatively affected ? Just asking out of curiosity

I am saying the below from my experience and from having the benefit of mingling in a society that includes plenty of immigration and consulate officials belonging to different countries.

Nobody, especially a government appointed minister gives two shits about express entry. Express entry will continue to proceed as it is without any hinderance for years to come. If at all any policy change is to be done it will be made based on statistical data collected by analysts and will happen regardless of which minister is in position.

What these ministers care about is matters like illegal immigration and refugees etc which capture the attention of the media and citizens.

So folks in here needn’t concern themselves about ministries and focus on improving their scores.

Bro, Political assumptions are not required here. please concentrate on improving CRS rather than concentrating on political decisions taken by new govt. No one in this group can tell anything whats happening in govt...

sorry but this doesn’t make sense. Charge who and why? What product? Keeping the score high doesn’t benefit the Canadian government nor their people. One might argue that the higher the score is, the better the migrants are, but this is not the case because they need people with skills (look at the increasing popularity of pnps with low crs scores). A kid who just graduated from a Canadian university is not the cream of the crop. I was accepted in the second year of the EE lifespan and at that time, potential immigrants were discussing the very same topic. Needless to say, I came across one too many individuals like yourself, spreading theories which are conducive to panic. And the next year, scores dropped to 413! I am not saying they will drop again, on the contrary, they are rising because I do agree with you that EE has become more popular, but there is no agenda from the IRCC to keep the scores high. It is simple math, more people with high crs, higher cut offs. Now to the people who are saying they intentionally manipulate ITAs to keep scores high, any proof to back this up? No. You want logic, look at the fluctuations that happened in the past... In a nutshell, I predict scores will remain higher than previous years because and only because more people with high crs scores are interested in Canada. I was too careful not to say more “skilled” people because having high crs doesn’t translate to skill. Most of the successful immigrants within my circle are the ones who were invited by pnps or came via means outside the EE, and guess what? The Canadian government is well aware of this fact.
dear you r right ... but crs score matching is only the gateway to enter Canada thru express entry draw for pr. secondly, this is also right that high scoring of crs does not mean having high skill or expert in their respective profession of field.... But skills is tested later once we get thru crs and get pr, and then how fast and how gud jobs with high package will decide or will gv us chance to prove ourselves. so main only one and one door thru which we can enter Canada is this express entry draw for which we have to get thru crs scoring. Candidates are taking so much efforts for this express entry draw, like education, exp., ielts, then evaluation of wes, n then entry pool. even after getting ita, one has to show gud funds as gic in his accounts, which involves even money also. For getting thru this draw, people are giving ielts more than one attempt which not only includes studying hard but ielets fees also matters , n giving more than one time is not a joke. so CRS matching is to be faced first then skill

exactly. Last year i was in the pool with 395 score and after appearing in IELTS 6 times i managed to upgrade my score to 462. It took me a lot of money and effort to get this one through.

I think this thread's purpose is being derailed. It was formed to discuss all things about the next draw, not politics. Please let's remain guided so this thread doesn't become boring and then we lose the vital information.

More predictions of the next draw will be appreciated by the analysts in the house. On the 130th draw thread, there were so many predictions but so few here.

Let's all focus on improving our scores and keep posting inspiring stories here like the lady who learned french in 6 months and is now almost certain of an ITA.

ABOVE ALL, let's commit these processes into the hand of God. May He give us our hearts' desires in line with his will. Amen.

I strongly second your thoughts. Previous threads were all about precise CRS predictions but now it has been diversified to somewhat irrelevant and panicking disussions.
