If your BGC is clean DM and PPR next congrats. Pre arrival usually is a good sign.

I am talking about the update on the applicant on ECAS btw.
So when you have your medical and biometrics done the status under the principal applicant looks like roughly like this:

1. We received XXXXX's application for permanent residence on DATE.
2. We sent XXXXX a letter on DATE. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We sent XXXX medical instructions on DATE. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

and after you have received a letter from Sydney that you file has been transferred to a Visa Office in my case New Delhi AND (speculating) the VO has picked up the file and started looking into it OR the VO wants to acknowledge that the file has been received then the your status will be updated on ECAS to:

1. We received XXXXXX's application for permanent residence on DATE.
2. We started processing XXXX's application on DATE (this gets added in between)
3. We sent XXXXX a letter on DATE. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. We sent XXXXXX medical instructions on JDATE. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.

I know it is weird that instead of putting the update on number 5 it is on number 2. It could be the IRCC never updated ECAS from the time (5 years ago) that they will process everything first then issue a medical request last.

Keep an eye on your GCKEY ... If you get ghost update, then your background checks are done and you should see Decision Made on your ECAS account

I am a sponsor currently holds PR i want to apply Dependent visa to wife i recently got married 6 months back and currently i have an issue for filing the Dependent visa, i lost my full time job last month the company layoff me due to there financial issue i currently applied Employment insurance(EI) and it got approved, currently i am looking for new job but till now i didn't get any can i apply my spouse dependent visa or what to do any cases with my situation?

In my opinion you should be able to sponsor your wife. All you need to do is explain in a letter how you intend to support her. In my own case, I sponsored my spouse without a job. I just explained in a letter about our living expenses and my spouse attached his bank statement.

CIC has requested my wife CSQ(Quebec) and proof of medical completion 16th november. They told me to send documents through email or web form. I have sent through email but i did not receive any confirmation. (IRCC.CNMissRequestedDocs-DocsDemandesMissRC.IRCC@cic.gc.ca).
A) Does anyone have submitted documents through this email?
B) Anyone can suggest me how many days does it take through web form?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
