I am on an open work permit status, I work for a company in the GTA as a production executive, its is a C Class/category according to the immigration parameters.

1: Under what circumstance I can apply for a Permanent Residency based my work experience under this category?

2: Is there any way my employer can help me to become Permanent Resident?

There are really no paths to PR with a NOC C role unless you have at least one year of previous work experience from outside of the country that is NOC A, B or 0. I would very strongly recommend that you find a new job that is NOC A, B or 0.

You state that you are a production executive, but NOC C? "Executive" usually implies a managerial role, and even executive assistants are skill level B. So before giving up, why don´t you post your job duties and responsibilities here, perhaps can help with the NOC.

Hi, can anyone help my queries?

1) I have received ITA for the CEC stream and i on the verge of submitting me E-APR. My document checklist does not have section to upload "Police Certificates". Can anyone advice me if/where i should attach my police certificates?

2) Is it okay to attach my IELTS certificate under "Educational Transcripts"

3) What is preferred file name for the documents when uploading?

I do have 8+ years (2005 - 2014) of work experience as a Buyer in Dubai.... will that help... and off-course I am looking into opportunities in Procurement and Supply Chain.

Do I have to have a NOC A,B,O job for certain time period before I can apply for PR? please advise...Thanks

My actual job position is "Production Clerk", and my Job responsibilities are,

Working as a resource available to multiple different work stations, in the manufacturing plant, includes fabric design, pattern and cutting, making rotating mechanism according to drawings and measurements, Quality Assurance, sleeving and packaging of the roller shades.

Fabric design and Measurements:

Involves Eastman Pro Software and machine, Cad-Pro Software, and Production modules in SAP to create technical drawing, setting up the laser on the table, spreading the fabric from the rollers, setting up the fabric pattern, and ensure its cut accurately according to the work order.

Inspecting the fabric roll for flaws and defects prior to cutting the fabric.

Updating inventory.

Quality Assurance:

Reviewing the finished product by hanging it up vertically on the hoist and ensuring the set quality standards and required specification are met, which include the Fabric color, material quality, Cassette color, Cassette Fabric, Chain length, Chain color, width and length of the finished product, electronic functions.

Rails and Springs:

Making multiple different kinds of springs following drawings and measurements.

Cutting Cassettes and tubes according to the work order specifications.

OK, I think you had the correct NOC Code, but you should be careful not to refer to this position as an executive position. Alas, skill level C.

you can only use experience from the past 10 years (so, going back to 2010), but you likely have enough to qualify under the FSW program (assuming you can document it). You would need a minimum of one year of continuous employment in your primary NOC to be eligible, as well as score high enough on the FSW selection factors, to be eligible.

Unfortunately, until you get one year of skilled Canadian experience, that will not help your application.
