Review required email received before completion of 6 months processing time after eligibility met

I have called ircc on the 2nd of October 2019 and confirmed eligibility Met but I received an email saying that there some verifications to be done which will make application take longer than the expected date of completion.

But what is your question given it is not unusual for applications to take longer or sometimes shorter given dates given are not committments
