Hey Cheryl! Thanks for the reply.

Any idea when the medical extension/remedical request will come through? As I have passed the 1 year mark on my medical. Or will it update once my file is picked up? Thanks
No idea about this. I'm in a similar situation as you. Everyone's experience seems to be unique. I'm not able to pick up on a particular trend.

From what I was told by an IRCC agent, VO will send out remed request after security check is complete.

Hey guys, today I recieved CoPR and landed via Windsor Tunnel. It took more than a month to get CoPR after I received a PPR email on Oct. 4 and the copy of my passport was delivered on Oct. 9. The final deceision was made on Nov. 6. The detailed timeline is found at my signature. Thank you for all here!

Hi everyone. My first time posting here, I got PPR October 9th, passports were received at Ottawa October 17th, my page shows application approved November 8th and till now my return tracker is yet to be activated for passports and COPR. Counterfoil shows validity till October 10th 2020.
My actual question is this, i am currently residing in the US and I am due to have a baby first week in January(IRCC is aware of this) my Obgyn has ruled that I am not fit to travel by air beyond 30 weeks and currently I am 32 weeks with my travel documents yet to be returned by Ottawa. What are my options if I choose to have the baby here in the US, can I enter Canada with the baby to claim my PR if he’s not part of the application? but would be visa free for him since he’s US born, is it possible? Or will another copr be reissued to us next year after the baby is born before we leave the US? Can I do the family sponsorship for him over there if I am allowed to take him in?

If you're unable to give birth in Canada, you will have to inform IRCC and they will add baby to the application and issue fresh COPR. This is also the best option specially compared to the sponsorship route

Medical passed in February 19 and no further details. Got the information through Mr Ralfe's office and also through IRCC call centre that my file is in NDVO so if anyone can please help what to do further. Thanks

Just got another update. This time it says 'you do not need a medical exam'. This was after the ghost update couple of days ago (on the next day after medical expiry).

As read on this thread before this is a generic message before the officer will request extension or remedical.

@tanvir1982 did you get any update on your medical?

Disheartening to see that the ghost update I was getting excited about was just medical-related.

Received PPR after a loooooong wait.....! They have asked me to submit the passport to their Abu Dhabi office via any of the Middle Eastern VFS, but I am currently in India. Any help as to how to request for a change of VFS office to submit passports? I am unable to call them either, the call automatically ends after it explains to send a webform for queries.

@Pura Vida @USProgrammer help please! :)

If you are aware of the Visa Office that processed your visa, you can email them and inform them of the change of address. They will then issue a new email with revised instructions for submission. You could also raise a webform and ask them about this, but, in such cases, it is best to email th visa office directly.

I'm not sure. I'd email the email that emailed you ASAP and possibly submit a web form as well. When you moved to a different country, you should have informed them via web form CSE at that time and you would not be in this position (a warning to others).
