After the ghost update did you check your CIC account carefully? Maybe that was a request notification of something. I agree that when ever you call or raise CSE all you get is general reply
I checked the CIC account but nothing change found. Called cic about it but they mention that if any internal changes done by the VO can lead to this kind of no change update

I have sent a CSE and they requested my passport back since it got immigration visa sticker. I have returned that and haven’t heard from them and it’s being a month now since I have returned my passport. I have talked to CIC customer service they want me to go a head and apply for for spouse and they have sent me an application kit. I’m adding spouse next week

Okay. You are starting now with adding wife .Get the police clearance and documents ready.
I have everything ready just working on applying. It will take 3-4 days. If you are inland then what city are you in? City to city also matters in processing time

I am in Toronto
But when I added my wife i was out of Canada.
Good to know. Processing time of Toronto applications are quite longer that is what I heard. I’m from Winnipeg tho. How long does it took for you to get your first ppr? For me it took 8 months

That’s fast. Maybe because you applied under express entry. But not sure when you add your spouse it will consider under express entry or it will go as regular applicant

Hello guys .
I thought i am the only one with this long
delay. I do have the similar kind of profile.

Got married on Jan 30 2019
Got PPR on Feb 14
Added wife on March 15
Got medical request in a day
Passed the medical on April 4
Got a ghost update in Sep 5 (I believe that was due to the expiry of my medical that I did for my Express entry )
Since then there is no change in the account.
Still waiting
I called the CIC but got a formal reply and ask me to wait. ( I am an inland applicant and my wife is back home ) .My visa office is Vancouver .
Almost the same timeline ☹
