When I can claim relative's point

Hello guys,
Recently my brother got SINP. So can you please let me know that when I can claim the point?
Is there any restrictions like he has to stay for a year then he can give me the point.
Or after reaching Canada i can claim the point?

Please help me to solve this issue.

Sinp is not PR status so you won't be able to use it.

Plus if you have enough points ( full time job offer), why you need his?

If you qualified for EE, only PR status relatives can be count. So still long time to go.

BTW he is going in SINP EE program. I know that he has to stay for 12 months over their and get the PR status. Please specify me that how much time is required to get the PR status?

I can't predict the time.
Some take 2 or 3 years in total.

U can check ircc processing time, but this does not apply on provincial processing time.

There r timeline in the forum that people post. You can make judgement on that. And again all are varies. Don't rely too much.

Sinp is provincial. Did he got approval from province?

EE usually is 6 months after apply, but this happen when you submit thru ircc , which is the federal.

All of this depends on his application, did he prepare enough documents. If you missed any document you may need to reapply.

Sibling points don't usually help much... Cause you need to prove you got support from him, which his income have to be certain amount, yet you guys have to stay close.

If not you need to explain a lot for that 15 points.

Get your education, find good job n do your own.
