Applying for Study Permit

Hi All,

I have received admission from Bishop's university and decided to attend. I have applied for CAQ and am waiting for the response.
I just want to know a few things.

1. I have previously applied for US visa and have been rejected twice for 2 intakes, how will this affect my Canada Study permit?

2. CAQ processing time. I have applied for CAQ on 13th October and my documents were sent to the destination on 17/18th October, but i still haven't received any update, just that opening your file. How many more days do I have to wait?
