Keep going girl God is not sleeping, he will be with you at the finish line.Kvo replied to me today, finally. They totally dismissed the reconsideration letter. I didnt have much hope that they would do anything with it, but shows how impartial they have been. So now the appeal. I'll be putting that in very shortly, this week
Yes you will.Yasss yaaaasssssssssssss I'm so happy for you, congrats woot . Expecting mine soon also
Yes i need the death certificate, yet it was never requested at all during the process. It also says in the application if i dont have it, give an explanation as to why. I gave a detailed explanation why. My husband knows my childrens names, and was silly for her to say this. They talk to him daily. What he was confused about was why the officer said they werent on our application, when they were. She told him, ok add them now, he listed off their names properly.Based on your post it does not seem that you had material grounds for them to reconsider.
You needed a death certificate which you do not have and also they do not believe your husband is with you for genuine reasons such as him not being able to recall your child's name.
Sadly, the officer was right in this case. Your best bet is for you to get the death certificate and then hopefully by then you both are able yo prove that based in the eyes of immigration you have a genuine marriage.
It was definitely not due to age, being married before or having children because other people have faced those barriers and gor thru.
My God how can one person be so wicked. What goes around must come back around. Girl fight the fight. You got this. God is with you. The officer actually LIED and told my husband that after meeting him, i got married to someone else, divorced them quickly and then married him all within a few months. This didnt happen. AT ALL.
She tried to convince him this was true. She then told my husband he didnt know me, as he didnt know my marital history. He absolutely does. The only person i met after meeting him, was HIM.
It was an outright lie, so NO the officer was not correct in this case. She didnt have my proper birthdate and even said she had to look over the file again. Her lies, and breaches of procedural fairness was definitely a reason for reconsideration
I have been asking myself over and over this same question since October 23rd. She could have admitted she made a huge mistake, but nope. There is no "more to the story" to this. THE OFFICER LIED. And got away with it. We are people, and she just played with our lives, and didnt care. And now we will be seperated for Gods knows how long because of this. At no time during the full year, nor on the interview letter was the death certificate ever requested or addressed. My God how can one person be so wicked. What goes around must come back around. The death certificate isnt something someone can just go pick up. My previous husband died by violent death. In Jamaica the process to get the death certificate for violent death is way different. I left it for his parents to do, as i had to return to Canada. They never did. We also no longer speak. They got what they wanted, which was me to pay for the entire funeral, and they were done.
The agencys involved will not allow anyone except family to retrieve the dc. I now have to go to Ja, with my previous hubbys birth cert, our marriage cert, and go to the funeral home to get the post mortem. Then i take that to the CIB branch in Halfway Tree, get the detailed report of the shooting death, have that transferred to the coroners court, go before a judge to have a form D released, and THEN go to the RGD to see if they will then release the death certificate. Anyone ever tried to deal with agencys in Ja? Not fun. The funeral home and police are already telling me that neither of them have the post mortem and that the other does. Smh
