Hello All,
I was an express entry inland applicant and completed my landing at etobicoke on 24 august 2019. My concern is that neither mine or my husband passport has any visa, stamp or anything bor they asked for the passports in advance to CPC ottawa. My cpc was ottawa all through my express entry timeline.

So friends, is it normal that we did complete smooth landing signing copr issuance od SIN and all and nothing on passport though
Maybe they just updated us on system only ... and now it is more then a month since we complete our landing and we have also received our PR cards in postal mail. Should i be worried of anything like stamping of passport.
The officer did see our passports on the landing interview day bit did not say anything or write anything on it.
Kindly give your views.

Visa is mostly due the people who do landing by entering the country... Since you were directly called for the landing interview, It's ok.

I had the visa but during the landing, agent did not look at it or stamp it or anything. The visa issued is a single entry visa for purpose of the people to do landing at any Canadian border...

In summary, your are good.

I complete my landing at Etobicoke office on Oct, 5th. i waited for close to 3 months to get an appointment and want to share some learning.

As per the COPR document i called the IRCC number which instructed me to send an email for landing appointment. i did exactly what was instructed by automated helpline and I received automated reply which says that will get appointment in 30 days.

After 30 days when i followed up with agent over phone they asked me to wait for 6 weeks for Etobicoke appointment. Again i waited for 6 weeks

After 6 weeks when i followed up with agent they escalated the case and sent a note to office that 6 weeks are already passed and appointment is not yet set. Now agent asked me to wait for 30 days for office to take action on a note sent by agent.

It was around 20 days(+ 6 weeks) passed when no action was taken one of the agent told me that i can even follow up over web form. So i did the same and sent a Web form request. Within 5 days i received a response of webform that respective office has been notified and they will contact me soon.

And finally after 6 weeks + 21 days i got the appointment email.

From all above timelines and experience this is what i learnt,

Don't book an appointment over email. Instead call agent and asked them to setup an appointment. The reason I believe this is fast because 2 of my friends they booked an appointment through agent and did not send an email and got the appointment within 2 days. Even though their COPR expiry was very similar to mine.

Don't wait any longer after 6 weeks and raise web form. I am not sure but somehow i believe that my appointment was setup due to my followup over web form and not because followup of an agent.

Hope this helps and good luck to everyone waiting for their PR

Hi,

I would like to ask help on how exactly to book an appointment via call.
Whats the sequence to follow to reach agent, should I avoid option 2227 coz that always ends up to send email?
Thanks in advance.

You need to send that email. I think that email id is listed in first post in this thread... Include all the details they suggested to include in call.
You will get a response back confirming the time.
Please review your COPR before you go for interview. Note any corrections to be made on COPR on a piece of paper and take along with you.
Do not sign COPR UNLESS you agent asks you to do in front of them.

Hi I just got an email saying my process is completed n Etobicoke office will contact us for finalisation of PR.
Can someone tell me what to do now?
How long does it take generally for them to contact?
Or should we make an appointment? If yes how? Call?
Generally how long does the Etobicoke office take to schedule the landing interview?

I would like to know if it is a requirement to bring extra passports photos for the PR Card during landing at the IRCC office in Etobicoke.

Did you already send new photos for COPR?

If yes, you can skip taking an extra set. The agent would just give you an option if u want to change photos on the COPR or you fine with them.

If no and you have been directly called for interview, you'll need the photos

I have the photos I've sent when they requested my passport to issue the CoPR. One of the CoPR copy has the picture I initially sent attached to it
