My organization provided the letter of reference detailing everything, but did not mention in the letter that they will offer me permanent role for 1 yr post PR. Along with the letter of reference I had provided the job offer letter (issued at the time when the work permit process was initiated). The job offer and the reference letter did mention that I hold a permanent and a full time position in the organizationDid you submit offer letter with mention assurance m of 1 yr after getting PR? If not what doc you submitted to claim job offer points?
[ QUOTE="bimale4bipeople, post: 7868115, member: 749805"]I had claimed 50 points for the job offer and was on a ICT WP. I received the PR.
If you are on ICT WP, then you can get 50 points for valid job offer only if you have worked for min. 1 year for the employer in Canada.

LMIA-exempt job offers – skilled immigrants (Express Entry)
In most cases, your employer needs a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to support your job offer for Express Entry. Some jobs do not need an LMIA.
Your employer doesn’t need an LMIA to support your job offer if:
- you have been working full-time for the employer on your work permit for at least 1 year (or an equal amount of part-time work)
- you have a valid job offer, and
- you have a valid work permit that is exempt from an LMIA under:
- an international agreement
- a federal-provincial agreement
- the “Canadian interests” category
Should I work 1 year in Canada with WP? I am working for same employer for last 5 years and recently moved to Canada for same assignment. My organization provided the letter of reference detailing everything, but did not mention in the letter that they will offer me permanent role for 1 yr post PR. I was able to claim the points and the eligibility was passed pretty quickly(as per info I received from the GCMS notes). I was issued PR after a good few months though because of security screening.
Did you waited 1 year or claimed points before 1 year?Hi! I really need your advice on this one year experience thing. I just landed in Canada on Feb 2, 2018 on closed ICT WP. I am already working for my employer since last 3 years. Also, my job NOC is 2173. I even have all the supporting documents which says i will be working in Canada for 24 months. So am i eligible to apply for the additional 50 points. Please clarify this confusion or i have to wait to complete one year with my employer in Canada?

Can someone please help with the query?Hi,
I am currently working in CANADA on ICT WP from Sept 25th 2018 and completed one year on the same employer as per WP.
I can provide below documents towards 50 points on job offer:
Employment agreement
secondment Letter
Compensation details
Latest annual compensation letter obtained in 2019
Reference letter from employer stating that I am in full time position starting 25th September 2018 and current work permit expires on Aug 14th 2020 . My company doesn’t provide any PR specific reference letter. I received as temporary residence purpose only.
Job position details with skill and responsibilities— for this I can provide the supporting letter company submitted to CIC while filling ICT WP
Company will not specify confirm job for 1 year after getting PR. Offer shows start date as 24th Sept 2018 with no end dates
last one year paystub
With all these documents can I claim 50 points on job offer?

Thanks for your reply. Just one more point to clarify. My company will not put a statement for job offer of 1 year post PR. But I have offer letter stating start date and no end date. Is that sufficient ??You should be good. I would also suggest you to include your T4s as well
This is one of the grey areas. I had the same issue. I had my WP and visa until Sep’19 (my EE AoR was Apr’18). But I had no issues in getting my eligibility passed)Hi

Refer to my above comment. This is in addition to ask diva you would submit otherwiseHello,
I've a similar question if I can claim for 50 points towards job offer.
I've been working in Canada full time since March 2016 on a closed WP (ICT, LMIA exempt) for the same employer, recent one valid till March, 2021.
My org will not issue an offer of employment stating "1 year job after PR is issued", but I've an offer of employment they issued for WP extension in May-2019, and Letter of support they issued this month (valid till March-2021) for changing my work location from Quebec to Ontario. Both the letters have the same NOC code#2171 mentioned.
I should be able to create EE profile in Jan-2020 after receiving my ECA, and based on my points (including these 50) should receive the ITA in subsequent draw.
Please advise.
