My organization provided the letter of reference detailing everything, but did not mention in the letter that they will offer me permanent role for 1 yr post PR. Along with the letter of reference I had provided the job offer letter (issued at the time when the work permit process was initiated). The job offer and the reference letter did mention that I hold a permanent and a full time position in the organization

I was able to claim the points and the eligibility was passed pretty quickly(as per info I received from the GCMS notes). I was issued PR after a good few months though because of security screening.

Hi! I really need your advice on this one year experience thing. I just landed in Canada on Feb 2, 2018 on closed ICT WP. I am already working for my employer since last 3 years. Also, my job NOC is 2173. I even have all the supporting documents which says i will be working in Canada for 24 months. So am i eligible to apply for the additional 50 points. Please clarify this confusion or i have to wait to complete one year with my employer in Canada?

Did you waited 1 year or claimed points before 1 year?

If you have to claim points for job offer on an ICT WP then you have work the Canadian employer for 1 yr

If you read, it's one year of work ex in Canada. The counting starts only if you work IN CANADA.

You should be good. I would also suggest you to include your T4s as well

This is one of the grey areas. I had the same issue. I had my WP and visa until Sep’19 (my EE AoR was Apr’18). But I had no issues in getting my eligibility passed)

Try getting some support from your manager and getting a letter from him on a plain paper

A lot of companies will not provide such a statement.
I would not suggest you approach your manager and ask him to provide a separate reference letter on a plain paper with this statement mentioned.

having said that you should create your profile as soon as possible and upon getting the ITA
