Thannk YouUCI number will be the same forever ....that is AOR1
Application Sent: September 12, 2019, from London,England
Application Received: September 18, 2019
AOR 1: NA
Sponsor: Canadian citizen (my spouse)
Principal Applicant's Country: United Kingdom
Unfortunately, I still have not received anything back, is there a way to get in contact?
Also would really appreciate if someone would tell me where I can locate a UCI or application reference number when my application was sent via post outside of Canada.
Thanks,
Hi,You can check ECAS with your sponsors UCI and family name. Or the receipt number will do also.

UCI stands for Unique Client Identification. My wife is my sponsor and she is on PR. That's means she had to applied for PR where she got her UCI. I don't know if this applies for citizen but in the forms, there was option to submit her UCI. We already knew her UCI long before we submitted our form.Hi,
Thank you so much for your response! unfortunately, that does not seem to work with me.
The message I get is "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"
Is there a way to locate the UCI?
it's quite stressful to have heard nothing back and have no way to reach them :/
Thanks again
Since the sponsor is already a citizen, you won't already have a UCI - you're going to have to wait until the sponsor gets one, which they will get with AOR1. We applied from the UK as well, and the post took ages (we sent it 2 days after you but they didn't receive it until Oct 1), so we are still waiting as well. According to the spreadsheet, other people who sent their applications around the same time as you are still waiting on AOR as well, so I wouldn't panic yet. How long you have to wait for AOR really comes down to luck. Although it's taking about 40 days on average, it's taking longer than that for some people. Hold tight!Application Sent: September 12, 2019, from London,England

Whats the update on ECAS?I'm so disappointed, ours was received in Sydney on 9/20 and no AOR yet, also can't link with GCKey. I'm trying to be patient!
I can't access ECAS because I don't have a client number/application number/receipt number yet...unless I'm confused about somethingWhats the update on ECAS?
You can get your receipt number from the receipt you paid for application fees. It starts will a latter. Like B**********I can't access ECAS because I don't have a client number/application number/receipt number yet...unless I'm confused about something
Oh I feel so stupid! Ok I found that number it starts with an "R". I tried ECAS with this info using my info (I'm the sponsor) and my husband's (the applicant) and nothing is found. At least it's something else I can keep trying. Thank you so much for your help. You can get your receipt number from the receipt you paid for application fees. It starts will a latter. I am a September 23 applicant and I received AOR November 1. I guess within this week, you will get your AOR. Can you please mention what information you have put to link your application? I am unable to link mine.Application received on Sep 23, 2019
No AOR yet
ECAS shows nothing, but able to link my application to my account.
Any one has similar situation and after how many days I will receive AOR once application can be linked to CIC account?
