Hello. Is the oath invitation sent by mail or email? Thanks in advance
It could be either mail or email...based on your preference for correspondence when you filed the application and sent it.

And how long notice do they tend to give on the Oath letter? I've seen in the excel sheet many Oath cerimonies are held just the next day the person received the letter.

That is too much of a short notice no?

Should be sent by the same method as they dispatched all previous communications - the AOR, FP/RQ if required, and test/interview/doc check invite.

Even saying to contact electronically doesn't mean they always do :) I've not heard of next day that would be rather tight especially as IRCC has been known to list one date for sending comms but actually sending (or delivering) the update a day or two later ;)
