The costs of dialysis in Canada to the health care system are extremely high. So yes - it's possible this could be a reason for refusal.Hi,
My brother was diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) stage 2. He is applying for PR visa. Will this be a problem and a possible reason to be declined? Thanks in advance for your response.
Thanks for your reply. He is not yet on dialysis. Just talking medicine for hypertension and cholesterol now.The costs of dialysis in Canada to the health care system are extremely high. So yes - it's possible this could be a reason for refusal.
That's good - but still hard to say how IRCC will assess him. They will look ahead 10 years and consider how his health will be then and what medical treatment he may require. Certainly worth applying and seeing what happens. Thanks for your reply. He is not yet on dialysis. Just talking medicine for hypertension and cholesterol now.
No not necessarily but if your kidney disease progresses you may struggle to get PR if that is your goal.Hello, i'am applying for working visa and temporary resident visa. However during my upfront medical i was diagnosed with probable ckd stage 3. My creatinine level was around 1.9. Does it mean that my application will be revoked.
Thank you..
Thank you sir , so this means i can still get a work permit. However if i planned to apply for pr , i'll gonna have problem if my ckd progress rapidly. If it stay same. There is still possible i might got approve pr. .No not necessarily but if your kidney disease progresses you may struggle to get PR if that is your goal.
Yes exactly the case so you need to know that your plans come with a bit more uncertainty than others without health problems. As a young person with ckd3 you have quite high chances of needing dialysis or a kidney transplant sooner rather than later.Thank you sir , so this means i can still get a work permit. Thank you so much sir.

I c. Thank you for your response, sir.You are likely fine at stage 2 unless you have a disease where kidney disease will get significantly worse in the next 5-10 years.
