SINP is 18 months plus processing times only in a few cases especially OID category. Express entry category is anywhere between 3 to 6 months.

All these 3 -5k people are going to hit the pool shortly within 3 to 4 months.
According to SINP's latest published figures, express entry processing takes an average of 41 weeks and OID processing takes 27.

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/check-application-processing-times-for-sinp

So the inflow from all their September-October draws is likely to start by April-May of 2020.

This means that December,19 TO Mar,20 is the only window for crs to dip because post that there will be a Tsunami of SINP applicants, and later on within a quarter we will face another wave of canadian students graduating out with diplomas/masters in July, which will again surge the crs. All in all, 4 months is all we have to be on the other side. Phew !! What suspense like a typical masala bollywood movie.

I searched this forum but didn't find anyone who has received this letter.

Please let me know what does this mean?

Very true the Tsunami will hit the pool eventually.

However there is one fact which again all of us have missed to think about.

Can SINP nominate more than OINP?

Ontario has the highest nominations quota of around 7 to 8k if I am not wrong, even though SINP has aggressively given out NOI's I don't think they can nominate more than Ontario.

What I feel might happen is, before December SINP might give out a total of 6k nominations for this year and for next year they might build on the base created this year to touch 8k.

If they continue at this rate, if they are giving out 1k nominations plus per month.. they will eat away around 12k PR spots in the federal target for each year going forward.

Ontario does not have 7k nomination, it is just above 6k ,which is similar for other provinces

lol it is. the thing is there was a golden period between 2016 and 2018 when scores were realistic for people, especially those above 29 years of age. At this point in time, it has become competitive AF, and expecting scores to dip is optimism max. Best bet for those asking 'My score is 4XX, do I stand a chance' is to work hard and make sure they can take their score higher. At the same time, make sure that they account for the fact that scores are going to go up by the time they finish whatever it is they are trying to do (additional course, learning French, etc.) except of course for IELTS.

As far as I know, I don't think they count internship, especially if its unpaid, as work experience.
Actually they do, but it depends on the situation:
  • For internship outside Canadan, it can be used for FSW stream as long as it is paid (see IRCC's tweet).
  • For internship that takes place in Canada & is part of the educational program, it won't be considered for CEC stream regardless of being paid or not. However, the person may use this experience and apply as an FSW applicant

so, a maintenance notification is up for 5th of November. So, guys are you guys ready for a B2B draw on coming Tuesday or Wednesday? People who thought Cutoff will not be going down soon should stop worrying and get yourself a Cola ;)

Advance Congratulations to the guys in the 467-474 range benchmark.

People from 462-466 it's your turn next in the mid-November.:cool:
I don't think they are planning for a draw this Wednesday. I believe the maintenance notification is because they are changing their sign-in partners. Refer to this link for further clarification: https://twitter.com/CitImmCanada/status/1190380544099532804

I agree, but don't you think it is practically difficult to have lots of people in the 480s and 470s to sustain the cutoff that high (like the october 30th cutoff)? It is difficult to achieve those scores, virtually everything has to go right for a person to get that score and there are not a lot of people like that! Will it stabilize a certain score then?

I agree with you. High scores are possible only if both primary and secondary applicants are young ( upto 30 yrs ) and have high IELTS score as well as more than 3 yrs experience. They can reach till 470 and above even though not having masters or work ex from Canada. However, people above 30 cannot cross 465 even after scoring high enough with work ex and IELTS unless they have education or work ex from Canada.
So, you are right only people having Canadian work ex are reaping the benefits, and getting PR faster since May,19.
