Hi,
Yeah I got my passport yesterday and planning on leaving next week. Thank you for your wishes. Yeah maybe it's a good idea to order the GCMS notes but in some instances they don't say much either. But at least you might know where they are in processing your application. It depends on the visa officer I think. Some are fast and some take their time. I got lucky with mine. November would be your lucky month :). Keep us updated eh and God bless!
Definitely @Reshan have a safe journey!! Enjoy and all the very best to u ! :)

When we need to pay VFS Process fess

You mean the processing fees for the passport submission ? I think you pay that when you hand in the passport. That's what I did. I think I paid somewhere around 325 rupees.

If they didn't ask you, then I wouldn't worry if I was you. The full price is 2000 something but since I got my biometrics done there I only had to pay 325. If they gave you a receipt with a photocopy of your passport attached, then I think you are good and you don't have to pay. Trust me, these guys would not move an inch without your payments hahaha.

Hi,
Welcome to the thread ! Hard to give you an exact time but usually from where you are at now, it could be anywhere from 6-10 months more. I think it's largely depends on the officer that is processing your file to be honest.
Good luck ! Stay positive !

Hey!
I'm new to the thread. My husband who's a Canadian citizen submitted my visa application. I recieved BR on 27th August and submitted biometrics on 29th August. Then we were informed that my application was forwarded to VO colombo on 10th September. Since then we didn't receive any information. Can someone pls tell me how long does it takes to recieve a medical request? Also can i know what happens next normally when your application is forwarded to VO colombo
