Study Permit Refusal

My study permit application was refused yesterday with these comments:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
Please I need guidance to reapply.
I have two admissions, one for January and the other starting in April.

Nobody can really comment unless you share your profile, current qualifications, chosen course, how such a course improves your prospects when you return home, any work experience and finally how you would pay the fees/support yourself financially

I have been admitted to study MEng Electrical and Computer Engineering. I hold MBA Technology Management and BSc Computer Engineering. I have 12 years working experience in Telecom , IT and aviation. Currently working as an engineer at the airport. My fees would be sponsored by my uncle. I shared his bank statement and affidavit in the application.

Can anyone help me to address he rejection reason based on current employment situation and the limited employment conditions in my country? I have less time as schools starts in January.

How would this new career lead to career progression? Have you tried to immigrate by other means? Do you have a family? If you have a good career it would not make sense to go study abroad when you can’t afford the tuition.

I would suggest ordering CAIPS. Not sure if studying in January is reasonable.

You can try to reapply if you want if you think you can address all the reason for refusal. Getting CAIPS allows you to have much more of an idea why you were refused. There are pros and cons of reapplying right away. You want to know why exactly why you were refused so you can address the issues but it will likely be to late to get an answer for January. You may want to check with the school to see if deferral is an option before making up your mind to see if you should wait for CAIPS or reapply.

You have a lot of reasons why you were refused. Assume you currently have a decent job and have a family but not enough money to pay for your education. Assume you are over 35. It may be tough to prove that you are a genuine student and not just seeking immigration. With your masters do you not qualify for economic immigration? Have you tried to apply to immigrate already?
