still nothing but they said 2 to 3 months after the test so I am not too worried. Have to wait patiently but my issue is I need to renew my French passport soon and I don't really want to renew it before I have the oath, so it is tricky.

Congratulations to those of you who recently passed their test and received their citizenship! Been in process since August 22. Until now, no update, no nothing. We can only hope for tomorrow.

It has been 2 months since wrote the test and got DM. There is no trace of oath letter.

When did you receive DM?

Hi dear friends, this is my timeline.
I have applied in 1 April from Montreal. 3 April my application received. 15 June I received my AOR. 10 july my application started in process and until now I didn't receive email for test.

Hello, I applied from Montreal on April 6. Application received on June 18.
It has been in process since July 11.
No test invitation.

Doesn’t France allow dual citizenship?

They do but because I am expecting to get the oath in hopefully a few weeks, I don't want to leave my passport at the consulate and not have it for the oath ceremony...I believe they ask you to bring your current passport

Do you have any idea, why Montreal applicants is still waiting , and another city applicants got invitation test letter..it's so weird

I can't really say but I am only assuming that because I renewed my PR card not very long ago, maybe they had already done a few security checks and therefore my case went faster...however, this is only an assumption. Maybe it depends on the agent, on the results of security checks of home country (maybe some are faster than others), if you have lived outside of Canada etc. so many different factors could affect the processing times, it is hard to know.
