Hi,

My visa was rejected stating:
  • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
I have no idea what to do next.
  1. How do I convince that l'll return after my stay?
  2. Should I modify my SOP or include a new letter addressing the above concern? If yes, Is there any format?
  3. What additional documents can I include to convince the officer?
  4. Is this a common rejection or should I be worried?
Some info about me:
B.Tech: 2017 (71%)
Work Experience: 18 Months as Software dev
Admit in Conestoga college for JAN intake.
I Applied through SDS.

Please help and let me know if any additional info is required. Thanks in advance.

Just modify your SOP. Purpose of visit is vague, it can mean you aren't genuine student, or much more. To convince VO you will come back home, tell the VO how the degree will help you or benefit you in your country. It is a common rejection for sure.

Let me see, what documents did you submit?
