Hi everyone I was hoping the people who have experience with this issue can help clear this confusion for me as it's making me worried as to whether I can get the points for work experience.its do with the the question: What date did you first become qualified to practice.
I completed my BDS dentistry degree from pakistan in 2016. As soon as I passed my final exams I was allowed to begin working as a paid resident house surgeon. Heres where it gets abit tricky..to be able to practice during this period you need a temporary registration for a year which expires after you have finished you're house job. After that period to be qualified to practice further you need to get permanent registration. I have not bothered to get permanent registration because I had no plans to practice further in pakistan.
My question is can I answer the question about when I first became qualified to practice by writing the date I began this house job? Even if I dont have that temporary registration anymore. My house job is literally every duty outlined in the noc 3113 so its valid as work experience but I'm worried that because I dont have the temporary registration anymore if they ask for this document I will look like I'm lying about it even though the truth is that all dental graduates in my college begin working straight after they pass their exams and dont even bother with temporary registration till like half way into their house job.
Please help me with this as it's the deciding factor that will take my points from like 425 to 460.
