So, parents received a call today for verification after sending passports. Asked for date of birth, height and colour of eyes. Why at this stage? Also what happens if the height mentioned on call is an inch or 2 off from what was on the forms. Also he didn't remember what was written on the form right that minute so he mentioned eyes are dark brown instead of black. Any reason to worry?

Rarely I’ve heard of cases where Cic contacts an applicant via phone. However there are a number of scammers as well.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1203&top=31

Assuming it is a legitimate call, I don’t think something like this is going to be an issue. Was the info they provided same as what they entered in the form originally when they applied? Maybe there was a difference and the office was trying to just ensure they enter the right information on the COPR and pr card.

Which case processing centre are they with?

Following generic email asking to provide PCC, CV/Resume, PR fee, Supplementary Travel Information, Country specific requirement, I replied back via email with every document attached on 17 Oct.
I had to send my email multiple times because their mailbox was full.
So I dont know if they received it.
My question is, what happens after you send this email? Do you get an acknowledgement?
My MIL is in Canada on Supervisa. My LVO is Mississauga.
Thank you

Hi Yulia,
How long does CPC usually take to return the passports? Advise on the basis of what you have experienced and read about people so far.
main was returned for 2 days, Moscow

@YULIA-2016 Do you know how is NDVO in terms of processing times? I submitted the required documents to NDVO in mid april and CSQ was issued to me in May by Quebec. I haven't received any information or status update after that. In my CIC account it shows 'We are reviewing the submitted documents'. I have tried to reach NDVO multiple times but no one replies.
What should I do at this point?

Thanks in advance.
they have a LOT of people to process, try to order ATIP notes

I did not get an acknowledgement when I emailed them. I also uploaded the docs via My CIC / GC Key. If you want to be sure, you can always call the helpdesk and confirm the documents were received.

He didn't remember the exact height. He was off by a couple of inches and instead of black eyes he said dark brown. I wonder if that's an issue.

Hello, @scylla @Rob_TO

I have also receive one email from them in between on September 2019 - Which says the below. Do i need to re send all of them or its a generic email. Because I know i have sent RPRF, Passport Copy, Police Certificate. Rest of them was never in requirement documents. So what should i do now ?

As your application will be processed at CPC-Mississauga, please provide additional requirements below in order to minimize delays in processing.

 Biometrics (if applicable): On July 31st, 2018, biometrics became a requirement for some IRCC applicants. As part of background check, it is common for CIC to request additional documents like IMM 5562, IMM 5546, CV/Resume. You should put your best effort to send CIC any documents that they request. If you cannot obtain a document or it does not apply to you, then explain that in your response to them.

If you have already sent RPRF, PCC, Passport Copy - still does not hurt you if you resend the fee receipt, PCC and Passport pages. You could tell them these were already submitted earlier.

If you received the request in September, I think they might have given you a deadline in October to submit the docs. Please check and respond as soon as you can.

Don't think that should be an issue. No one remember what is exact height. Strange this kind of call does not make sense. Never heard of such thing.

But again does not seems to be an issue.

What is the procedures and steps that parent take once they land in the canadian airport and what questions are being asked by the officers?
This is to prepare parents for landing.
