Hello everyone

I hope everyone is having a great day!

I received my COPR a few days ago, however; i have a few questions that i need some help with, I was asked to fill out the Updated Information Chart in Appendix A. and provide photos for each accompanying family member:

1. Does that include my Canadian wife and children who have a Canadian passport?

2. My first child passport is expiring soon, do i have to renew it to travel to Canada, keeping in consideration that she is Canadian.

3. My new born (a few months old) she does not have a passport nor CCC Yet, and the form requires her passport number and date of expiry which she doesn't have yet, she will most likely receive her Canadian passport and citizenship after we apply, but we have a very limited time to submit the COPR letter, and applying for a passport could take longer than expected, what should i do in this case?

I wish you all a great day!

2. If the passport will expire before you land, you need a new passport.

I don't know the rest of the answers, sorry.

1. Does that include my Canadian wife and children who have a Canadian passport?
No, because it is not relevant to them. They are already Canadian so can go and stay in Canada anytime.

2. My first child passport is expiring soon, do i have to renew it to travel to Canada, keeping in consideration that she is Canadian.
As long as it has not expired by the date you travel to Canada, then fine.

Pretty sure (but not absolutely certain - others may confirm) she would need a valiud Canadian passport. They usually take 4 - 6 weeks. If that is too late for your CoPR, then you will have to land and declare PR in Canada separately before your CoPR expires.

Thank you so much, you've been a great help!

We won't travel to Canada soon, we need a few months. so i believe we do have time to apply for a new passport for the new born and renew the passport for my first child.

Do you think i should only add myself as the applicant in the form?

Since all my family members already have Canadian passports, and my new born which is also eligible for Canadian passport and CCC?

Thanks in advance!

No you do not need to add them to the form as they are already Canadian citizens (or will be). They can move to Canada independently of you or your status. I would get on immediately with your youngest childs Canadian passport though
