Hi..actually I dont think that is a valid point. May be you are right that the native canadians dont want the same benefits to be enjoyed by the new immigrants but if that was one of the major concerns of any political party they would have discussed immigration with utmost importance which no party actually did. Immigration was not even among their top 5 concerns..So I dont think that would happen..Same is the case with the social assistances..
To be honest, Canada is using us build their economy, if we need them for better life, they need us to build their country too. It's a business .all parties know their population is low and they need humans , so they selecting the out of developing countries..poor countries do not have any options to retain best brains, this is how it works, rich getting richer.poor getting more poorer

Key difference in Liberal vs Conservative: "annual increases in overall immigration numbers" vs "Focus on immigrants who can fill skills shortages". As others have suggested in the forum, this conservatives basically want to effectively prove that your NOC justifies a PR. Liberals are ok with any NOC getting in as long as it is a valid NOC

Another point: Conservatives want to reduce the overall number of refugees taken in. They are in favor of economic immigration. I meet so many people (Indians mainly) who think Conservatives want to end economic immigration. NO, THEY DO NOT.

Looks like liberals will win guys. They will then need to deliver their promise of 1million PRs by 2021 and everyone here should be safe
lol, the counting for ontario and quebec will start in about 2 more hours. THAT is where the election is decided. These are just the lesser province seats coming in.
Ontario will 70% cash in for Liberals and QC should be more for conservatives but i believe overall liberals will win

Living in ontario I do think it will tilt liberal, but there are plenty of disgruntled people here too.
Only thing is doug ford has really ticked people off.
It remains to be seen how much Quebec will vote Block Quebecois. That is where Liberals can lose a lot of seats.
when I checked last it gave peace of mind when block quebecois had zero vote counted when liberals were on 5900
