Study permit application for Jan 2020 applied on September

Hello i got a mail saying this
"We would like to inform you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 21 Oct 2019 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. "

Then after tracking it says
"

Visa application, tracking ID No.20190912CALASTU30969 – Your processed passport is ready for collection , on 21/10/2019 at the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"

Please What does this mean and how does it affect my visa application approval.

Review of additional documents -> We do not need additional documents.

Interview -> You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Bio metrics -> September 26, 2019 Completed.

Background check -> We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision -> Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Hi,

As i never received any of such student acknowledgement letters i cannot comment on that(Not sure if you are talking about correspondence letters). But when "Review of Eligibility" say we are reviewing...it means you are at the final stage of their decision. Also the accurate indicator in most of the cases has been the date of receiving your "Biometric Correspondence Letter", as from there it takes mostly 48Hrs to get the decision i.e. Original passport request or refusal statement.

Be optimistic, you are about to get through.

We have the same timeline. I have now 49th day of waiting for their decision. I hope it will be a good news. I applied under regular online

Consider raising a web form with your case query as you have crossed the processing time. You will hear from them within a week(i can quote my case, as i raised a web form for biometric letter delay and I got it within 4 days and CIC mail confirmation of resolved query against my form).

It's been 34 days for me and now update until now except for 'reviewing eligibility'
