Hi friends,
Just want to know those people who already got approved OWP along their pr application. If you submitted OWP checklist and other supportting documents like marriage certificate and any marked pages of passport?
Because I only did application form and payment receipt with pr application. Waiting for AOR now, kinda worried about it. And I have no idea if I can add them through webform after I can link to my account. Thanks a lot if anyone can help.

Are you asking whether you needed to submit the supporting documents with the OWP application as well?
If so, yes. In our situation, the documents we attached were PA passport pages, receipt of payment of required fees, notarized declaration of common-law union.

Depending on your situation, you should have gone down the checklist and attached the documents that referred to you.

It’s CV/Resume. Found by searching forum that in many situations if applicant has higher education in field of physics or chemistry they are asking for it. It’s applicable in our case. We are working towards updating it and providing soon.

Yes I was surprised too at first. Still I’m waiting someone to confirm my other questions.

1. if gc key says what I stated above, the bg started already?
2. Can I upload cv in gc key page itself?

Why don't you give them a call and ask them what to do? Usually if someone has missing documents or fees for OWP they will only send back the OWP, not the whole pr application.

Yes, I know they will only send back the OWP part. Also I tried to call, took so long to get someone to answer, so I gave up calling them. I was told that some people still got it without there extra doc. So, I hope I would be lucky enough too.

I didn’t have to (in fact I tried on GCKey but it wouldn’t let me ). As long as the doctor uses Emedical, they will upload your results to CIC in a few days. The doctor I used told me it would be within 7 days but it was even quicker than that.

Aug 6: CIC returned forms by snail mail
Aug 16: returned app received by me
Aug 16: fees and form returned to Edmonton by expresspost
Aug 19: received by CIC
Aug 21: linked on GCKey

Nothing since then. Anyone else having better luck? At this rate we will receive PR before OWP

Returned to CIC with updated fee on Aug 24 and recieved by CIC on 27
Linked to GC key on Oct 8
No updates....
