Hi ,
I applied for Pr in 2018 as a cook ( sinp pnp). My timeline is
Government received documents-18/05/2018
Received aor number-27/07/2018
Medical request-03/05/2019
Done medical on-21/05/2019
Since June my application showing application received. Can you please tell that when can I expect passport request?

Literally no one can tell you this. It seems to happen at random. Many people waiting over 16 months.
I spoke with an agent yesterday morning. Told me that my eligibility is now "review required" . It was recommended pass as at August. The case analyst mentioned he couldn’t verify my employer via web search when I received my gcms notes in November 2018. I didn’t bother doing anything as I thought there was no concern since eligibility is recommended pass. I spoke with some people here and was advised to submit documents in September which the agent acknowledged that the visa officer opened on the 19th and is currently reviewing.
So am just waiting. Ordered another note and should receive on the 13th.
Last night I logged in and saw a ghost update. Not sure what it will be.

@CanadianSympathy, I just got an update from the MP's office that my file has been forwarded to the local office. Which office would they be referring to? My file has been in IRCC Edmonton. I have Vancouver office as secondary office. I live in Vancouver.

Security screening :Feb, 21 2019
Newborn addition : Mar 2019
Remed request for me and spouse - 14th Aug 2019
Remed request for newborn - 20th September 2019
Ppr : 3rd Oct 2019

AOR 17 July 2018. File was in Ottawa. Moved to NDVO in May.
My aunt is in Canada and she went to the MP office. The response was that eligibility is still under review security and criminality hasn't even started. Medicals got expired and they may request for a new one.
I cant explain my disappointment. 15 months and waiting. Background check hasn't even started. No matter what I do, they won't touch my file and do something for it to move. MP intervention also has not shown any movement. Now thinking of moving to Dubai. Just fed up of following up on Canada and knowing with each GCMS notes that they're not doing anything with the file.

I feel so sorry for you. It is sad that the processing is taking so long.I think MP, web forms are your best bet. You can try emailing MP Ralph Goodale too if you want. I have heard he gives some information or direction about file status. Every bit helps.
I too am May 2018 AOR. Waiting in security check since Nov 2018.
How many people are still waiting? Me first and pls copy and add more:

I am waiting as well. May 2018 AOR. As per my GCMS notes, everything was passed on Nov 2018, but application put on status On Hold for Durther review. It has been in that status since then. Web forms received reply - file is at local visa office for further verifications. My local MP helps by checking status once every month.
