Thats ok, but do i have to answer anything in question 3. Because in self employment or incorporation you are working and giving salary to urself. And normally dont issue contract letter or appointment letter to urself.

you have to check 3 and 4 both because you are getting salary and running incorporation too.
make a simple employment letter for your self. because you are owner of personal business too.

Created the account but then when I am at the "Add Applicant" step then it asks me for the First Name and Last Name. So, I am stuck. I know ultimately they ll scan the barcode on the letter but I dont want to add incorrect information in the applicant details as well.

Anything else that you can suggest that ll make sense?

I am saying this because of my personal experience.
I don't have surname in my passport, given name is "Akwinderpreet Singh"
so I entered "Singh" as surname and "Akwinderpreet" as given name.
Technically filling out VAC appointment form has no relation with CIC.
This is merely for appointment purposes only.

When filling in the Supplementary Information form IMM5562, there is a section that asks for the applicant's travels and their spouse but also any dependent child 18 years or older. This might be a very stupid question, but if i'm sponsoring my parents, does mean that i have to state my travels or would i not be considered a dependent, but a sponsor? @robertp

Hi,

Today afternoon, I received an email from CIC that says
“You have a new message in your account for application: F000xxxxxx”

When I login into ECAS or GCKey I don’t see any new message other than the In Process status for both a sponsor and principal applicant, which was there since Oct 4.

Was anyone in the similar situation? Am I not looking properly? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Most likely this message would be on the GCKey side for the principle applicant. After you login, on that first page be sure to scroll down as sometimes the message appears on that front page at the bottom. Or click on the application number on the GCKey page to open more details and scroll down to see whether there is a message there.

@DP_7025 good to hear that. Did they give you a new date? Did they send you a new biometric letter with the new due date? How do you know they informed the USCIS?

In my case they just said thanks for taking time letting us know. The information provided is forwarded to the responsible office.
Nothing clear, no acceptance nor decline. No new date.

Hi, sorry for late reply. I was out of city. I just did biometric today after my due date and they have accepted it. Also checked in mycic account, it shows it's done.

Do not count children in number of people. Include yourself and cosigner if any and number of people being sponsored by u. Try

so use just # of adults ! "

Hi Guys, Probably someone else made this question. I received Bio request last week, But in the letter is including just my father, the letter does not mention my mom. Is this because he is the principal? also I would like to mention that my mom is here in canada as a visitor and my other is back home. Does my mom have to get biometrics too?

Also yesterday received the SA letter.

Congrats on your progress. Hopefully the officer will accept it as well with no issues or hiccups. My mom will provide biometrics later this month, past due date. Fingers crossed for acceptance.
