Apply for work permit

My husband is truck driver in Dubai. He applied for work permit for Canada from Dubai . His file submitted online on 4th april2019 and finger print was also done. But now 6 month has passed and yet we don,t receive any response. Please anybody have any information regarding this?

How did he apply for the work permit? What program?

He applied through ntc immigration Canada . He have heavy truck license and agent provided him LMIA and my husband submitted all the documents.
