Hi,

I tried to go through some existing threads on this and I know issue of experience letter from Infosys had been discussed previously but couldnt find what was the tried and tested solution.

My profile
Masters in Information system in USA
bachelors in Mech Engg India
Job Experience
1. Software Engineer, Infosys India, 4 years. I provided NOC Code 2173
2. Technology Analyst, Citi , USA 2 years. I provided NOC 2174( However my title is Apps DEV Programmer Analyst)

Questions
1. As Infosys doesnt provide job experience letter with job description and my manager in Infosys also refused to provide any letter which can be notarized as he is concerned of Infosys policies.
What is the suggested alternative here?

2. My financial statement can not reflect average balance of CAD12000 for 6 months as I used to transfer money on joint account between me and my father and he used to pull out money to convert into Fixed Deposits on his name. He is transferring money back to my account now but I dont know how to prove that its my money.

3. My job title with Citi says it is Programmer Analyst however my role is more of Technology Analyst and BA. But I am not sure, if I can get a letter from Citi explaining job description.

Please advice.

Get this job experience letter on a plain A4 size paper from your colleague or any other person who is currently working in Infosys. Make sure to include this person's e-mail id, contact number on this letter along with his signature. Get this document notarized.

2. My financial statement can not reflect average balance of CAD12000 for 6 months as I used to transfer money on joint account between me and my father and he used to pull out money to convert into Fixed Deposits on his name. He is transferring money back to my account now but I dont know how to prove that its my money.

CIC is interested more in your current balance than your average balance. Get a Gift deed signed from your father stating the amount of money equivalent to CAD 12,000 or more is a gift for you and that you do not need to return it.

3. My job title with Citi says it is Programmer Analyst however my role is more of Technology Analyst and BA. But I am not sure, if I can get a letter from Citi explaining job description.

As long as your job duties match up with the duties of the NOC code, your designation does not matter.

Please advice.

Your education qualifications and NOC code are independent and do not have any link with each other.

Hi All,

I have received ITA on Oct 2, 2019. I am in process of collecting all required documents for further PR Application process.

I was gathering the previous employer documents, In one of document( Original Job offer letter) from my previous employer - Wipro (2008 to 2010) has mentioned incorrect address, where i never lived there in this address. I am confused now, whether should I show this document or provide any other document.

I have requested with previous employer to provide the explanation letter for this mistake, but they informed they will not able to provide such letters.

Please provide your inputs how to proceed.

Well I think you have at least a couple of options:
1) You could just provide a reference letter if you can get one with all the info (Dates worked, working hours [to show it was full time], and description of duties as per NOC). If you can get it, this is the only document you actually need
2) Just move this work experience to personal history. After my ITA, I moved everything except one job to personal history so I only needed to submit one reference letter. The caveats are to make sure you have at least 3 years (so get maximum CRS points) and that you still meet Express Entry eligibility criteria (i.e. get 67 points after you reduce your work experience)

I would personally recommend 2 - on the general principle that the fewer (correct) things you submit, the less chance that something goes wrong. I got no issues or questions about my work experience and got my approval in a reasonable 5 months.

Thank you aamool for your input. A clarification, during ITA submission I have mentioned this company's experience included to keep the last 10 years. If I don't have offer letter will it be fine

Just because you mentioned something in ITA submission, does not mean you cannot change it.
If you report the work experience in your PR application, you will need to provide documentation that proves dates, salary, working hours, responsibilities. This can either be a single letter (recommended) or a combination of a few documents. However if, as I suggested, you move the experience to personal history instead of work experience, you do not need to provide any documents at all for it.

In case it's not clear, once you fill out the PR application, a document checklist will be generated. For every job that you put under work history, you will need to give documents. For information in personal history, you will not need to upload anything.

All the best.
