Experience required for SINP-EE

Hi Guys,

I have 7 plus years of experience as a software engineer and I want to create a profile for SINP-EE however, I have few queries which are as follows

1) As of now NOC 2173 Software engineers and desginers is in SINP demand list and my recent exp (April,2016 to present) of 2.5 years with current employer is following under 2173 noc code responsibiltes and past 5 years (Sep,2010 to April,2016) of exp comes under another noc code that is 2172 (Data Analyst)

Here my question is how many years of work exp I can claim while filling SINP application, 7 years or 2.5 years only ?

Since I have already taken reference letters from both of my previous employers on the basis of 2172 noc code, so It is difficult for me to ask any changes in the existing letters on the basis of 2173 noc code

Submit both reference letters. SINP needs 1 year of minimum experience in that NOC. So you are good in terms of experience.

A minimum score of 60 points out of 100 is needed to apply under an SINP International Skilled Worker (ISW) sub-category.

2) B: SKILLED WORK EXPERIENCE
a) In the 5 year period prior to application submission date

4 years:- 8 Points

You can claim total experience under assessment grid. 1 year is only required in occupation in demand.

Okay, You mean to say , I can claim total my exp that is 7 years and I should have only 1 year exp in OID i.e 2173 noc code.

First Employer : If you resigned in Year 2016 itself, than that reference letter will work but it should be in CIC format.

Second Employer : You will need a new reference letter. It should be dated.

But sinp work experience it is clearly mentioned that "you can claim points relevant to single occupation". Do you have any strong evidence for claiming points on multiple noc?
