Foreign work experience

Good day,

I worked here at BC for 2 years now but still a didn’t get to the draw I have Canadian experience class profile for express entry.,
And I did not get the required score for ielts but I have 3 years experience at my home country the same NOC category.

I just want to ask if I am qualified to get points under the foreign experience category ?

Have you checked your score on CIC calculator?

It is CIC who decides if you are applying under CEC or FSW. If you are in Canada with experience and a job offer they will add you to CEC.

There is no difference between points between FSW or CEC. If your score is high (let's say 460, seeing the current trend), then you will get an ITA. If your score is low, even after adding your foreign and Canadian work experience, then you need to improve your IELTS/CELPIP score to boost your CRS. Other than that PNP is another option.

i just want to ask if my work experience back home is valid as a foreign experience even i didn’t get the required ielts score?

your work experience is valid provided you get a reference letter with all the details.

because my agency said that I don’t have a foreign work experience score because I didn’t get the required score in ielts even I have 3 years work experience back home
