Credits used to be related to the number of hours in a course - you will sometimes see a reference to "credit-hour," but over time they have become disconnected from being 1:1 related to the number of hours in classrooms.

These days they're basically how universities price courses. Each course is worth a specified number of credits, and universities will tend to specify a per-credit cost in tuition.

Your question - "is it possible for a post-grad diploma to be worth more credits than a masters' degree" - yes, especially if the university wants to charge a lot of money for it.

Hello @k-h-p
thanks and too much
just for clarify let me i ask just one question more
here for Master we have 32 credits(except project which is 6 credits) ---> 24 credits(8 subjects+2 credits seminar)
so total duration for master is being calculated : 8 subjects*(48 hours theory per subject) + 32 hours seminar==
416 hours
My query is if there is PG Certificate [MBA] with 350 hours to 400 hours during 1 Year
is it possible Canada Agency like WES will be counted it as a master ? or no master degree (postgraduate) is differ than PG certificate ?

thanks and regards

What you have posted is probably UK education standards. This doesn't apply one to one to North America. A Masters degree is typically 30 credits or higher. Post Grad certs are typically around 12-18 credits here.
