Were you requested to provide the medicals or you took the initiative? I received the letter & passport request around noon.

Also, what course will you be taking up in Canada?

Yes, medical was requested on 27aug. I did not take it upfront.

I’ve heard around here that when they ask for your medicals it means that you’re most likely to be approved.
You should be getting your PPR soon. Best of luck.

Medical Passed: 7 Oct
Bio Metric Validation: 11 Oct
I'll probably know my results today. As 11 Oct was Friday and they do not issue any letters on Saturdays and Sundays. One of the person who was applying got visa after 5 minutes of Bio metric Validation.

Apliquei pra minha study permit e meu marido aplicou pro open work permit.

Se vc aplicou dia 16 de agosto, tecnicamente vc aplicou 3 dias úteis depois de mim. E não se passaram 3 dias úteis desde que eu recebi o meu PPR, que foi quinta. Se eles seguirem o mesmo schedule, amanhã vc recebe.

Fica tranks, vai dar certo.

Recebi a Correspondence Letter e o PPR da minha esposa (OWP), mas no meu caso (study) eu recebi duas correspondence letter, uma da validade da biometria e outra falando que o permit foi aprovado, para eu apresentar está folha Para o agente quando chegar no Canadá, mas não recebi o PPR. O status da minha aplicação está finalizado como “approved”. Será que isso ocorreu devido a eu já ter um visto colado no passaporte (turismo) válido? Já viu algo do tipo?

Em primeiro lugar, parabéns!
Olha, eu nunca tinha ouvido falar numa situação assim. Sei que eles enviam uma carta para vc apresentar pro oficial na chegada no Canadá (inclusive nem recebi a minha ainda), mas vc precisa do visto de estudante colocado no passaporte, sim. Te recomendaria entrar em contato com a VFS e perguntar.
