I'm applying from Australia. Received my ita on 20th August. My ECA is on final review. Any idea how long it will take? My application deadline is 20th of october.
Any information would be a great help. Thanks in advance guts

It is really hard to predict timeline. I used to believe I would be one of those receiving ppr within processing time as my application is quite straightforward but I ended up joining the 8-month-and-counting group.

Hi RDong, according to the notes its being processed at Ottawa. The assistant and the case analyst have given recommend pass on my app, just waiting on final decision by the case officer I guess.

Oh I see. That's strange. My file is with Syd VO which is reputable for slow processing. But I shouldn't complain as you have been waiting so much longer than me. I trust that everything will be nicely settled for you before your Aus visa expires.

Thanks RDong, hopefully the process gets done before my visa expires or else I might end up experiencing more delays by changing my country of residence etc. LOL.

wow I am so happy for you. really really happy. I didn't email Ralph but I already ordered gcms a few days ago. I don't know why my case takes them too long but the ghost update yesterday gives me some hope. Keep faith and waiting then. Once again congratssss

That is quite possible. Mine was transferred in May/June. Ghost updates are a positive sign.. So your PPR is on its way!!!
