Hi everyone, I don’t know if it’s the right thread to post this question. Still needs some practice. It’s about my parents visitor visa application. They got refused four times, saying my dad overstayed and worked illegal 10 years in US. But actually the case is different. Now when I looked into the facts I found my dad never worked illegal and overstayed at all. He applied for refugee protection and was issued work permit every year. When his case was denied, even after that work permit was issued every year for the next three years. And when he got deported on a court date, his last work permit was expired only three days before. And if they say he worked and stayed illegal they were those three days. What should I do please reply. I really need my parents because of my pregnancy complications. I would appreciate the responses.

Please start a topic specifically for this question. This is not related to PGP.

I called today again and the agent told me your application looks fine but no progress since 2 weeks ago that I called. He said that they have not even started to review my income eligibility!
He confirmed that pre-assessment is done for every applicant which is bullshit and 90% of the applications take 2 years to process lol
I really don't trust them any more

Did they not get mad at you? Last time I called she was pissed

Hello guys,my question is about PCC.Can we send the pcc results online or have to send by post mail?
Thanks in advance
My understanding is that we should be able to send it online. In my case, the letter requesting for additional information reads:

Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they receive it.

And then later in the latter it reads: In order to facilitate faster processing, please send these documents by email to: xxx

So I am assuming we can send electronically. Anyone else can confirm this is the case, please?

Not sure if transfer of files is a good sign or not. Hopefully it is good... Keeping the fingers crossed.

BTW, did anyone receive any notification or update in myCIC or eCAS confirming receipt after sending all the documents (PCC, Resume, etc.) via E-Mail to IRCC ?!?
No, you won’t get a response if you email them the documents. You can also use the IRCC webform to submit docs which will give you acknowledgment.

i didn't see this note before i went this morning. i mentioned at the border at peace bridge that we are going to do biometrics and the border officer let us go with no questions. they are aware of this and seem have no issue with it.

however, when we come back to canada, the officer at rainbow bridge seems never heard about biometrics, i have to show him the letter what it is.

hope it helps.

btw, it took me 5 hours to drive back and forth from Toronto, it took 15 minutes for the whole process, including security check, using washroom
Did you have to get an appointment for biometrics or do they do walk ins at uscis in the US?

Hello, my application arrived on May 27th. I just checked the ecas and it said Decision Made for Sponsorship Application Status but In Process for Permanent Residence Application Status. My parents got request for biometrics today in the afternoon. I couldn’t link the application to my account though.

Hi all,

CIC requested for FBI and RCMP clearance for my parents as they have travelled to both USA and Canada in the past. My parents are currently in Meerut, India. Does someone here know the best way to take fingerprints and submit for processing?

Thanks in advance.
