Also can you tell what kind of proofs we can give to CIC that ex wife is allowing the son to go for medical & PCC. all our communications till date with her have been verbal.

Firstly yes, you have to definitely include all children u have in yr application that’s IRCC application law. As in yr case you have to submit custody papers to immigration and submit in stat declaration that ex has full custody and u r ok to renounce the right to sponsor yr kid in future, so they will get u sign a letter abt future sponsorship and that will pass yr file from medical phase, that’s what I got to know so far after closely reading this forum.

However in my case, we don’t have custody agreement and I emailed ex to get medical done, he refused. I showed my willingness to pay for taxi fares along with medical but in reply he was looking to get thousands of dollars , so I sent an affidavit along with all these emails n chat to IRCC stating my situation and to exempt medical request of kid. Kid is in Australia , I didn’t made a single contact since he was 3 months and I have no willingness to see him in future too. Ex and his family is looking after the kid , but the problem is my medical status still shows: we have not received the required medicalexam results, and background check is started. I enquired Through IRCC webform- and came to know IRCC have received my medical results n my affidavit too. But medical status is not changed.. what does this mean?? Shall I keep waiting till it change status , when would I get to know whether they read my affidavit and considered it or not?

In my opinion, your documents are probably not reviewed as yet by an officer and hence the status of medical.
Once the vo verified your documents he will either ask you for medical and give you a deadline or may ask you for notarized affidavit to exclude the child,
Other than waiting we have no choice.
I have myself submitted the said affidavit signed and notarized in June 2018, two days later the medical status showed passed. But till date no news of ppr and it's over 19 months now.
You need to include your children in the application irrespective of the custody.
Provide custody docs showing full custody to ex. But this alone would not suffice and you need to make an attempt to reach out to the ex for meds, any communication for this need to be documented and submitted to ircc, like letters, emails, phone call/msgs, any replies from also need to be submitted to prove that you have made efforts for the same. Final option will be to exclude the child from pr application and as a result the child can't be sponsored in future.

I was sent PPR email by V.O on 14th Jan 2019, that is 655th day or almost after 23 months post AOR.
The good news is, I was not asked for any document or neither had query from VO. All the document we sent proactively probably were accepted. The affidavit in required format To exclude my stepson also was accepted.
It strengthens my belief that being honest, providing all possible documents, making all efforts and documenting them helps your case a lot. For all those awaiting response on your cases, be patient. Each one of us will get the results once the review of all documents are done.

I have dependent listed on application , as ex refused to provide medical I made affidavit of all my efforts and email n fb messenger conversation I had with him. Further to that I have explained IRCC to all situation in affidavit , we don’t have custody arrangement in place though, is it similar to yr case!

Please, what should the title of the custody paper be? I want to apply for PR,I have a child of 9 years who has been in my custody since birth and I never married her dad. I have not seen or heard from the man in 3yrs,neither has he been responsible for the welfare of the child ever. I want to take my child along with me. How do I go about it? Can I just upload an affidavit stating I have custody of the child or do I need a fancier document?
If the child doesn’t do the medical you will have to acknowledge that you can never sponsor them. Is that your plan? If you want to sponsor them in the future there is no option, the medical must be done.
Do you officially have sole custody or do you live in a country where one parent is granted sole custody of the children no matter what?
