Hi all,
Quick question: from your experience, after receiving CoPR letter, would we receive a "landing interview invitation" or can we go by ourself for the flag poling / landing interview?
I know that CoPR letter is ussualy valid till our Medical will expire, so as long as we are in this time-frame, it will be ok to go by ourself for the landing interview?
I will travel for 2 weeks at the end of November and I would like to go with my spouse for the flag poling after I will come back from vacation.

Need one help, I am planning to order GCMS notes. As my wife is dependent and i am primary applicant, do i need to submit consent form signed by my wife (authorizing me to receive the information)?

Not sure, never called CIC to ask about this. When I received the PPR request, I had to send the docs to Ottawa (not sure if it's relevant or not). Other than that, I have no other details. thx!
Hi Guys, Question!!
I saw 2 ghost updates, one on Oct 7 and second on Oct 8.
After calling CIC today, agent advised that application is still under criminality check and there is no update as such. (my application is under that criminality since MEP. She also said, 6 months processing time does not apply on my file since it is in the LVO and application processing may take 6-10 months.
Is it Normal? Because usually I have seen movement of file whenever there is a ghost update for other people.

Need urgent help, I got email for an interview at Etobicoke office on 16th Oct but i had sent my passport for renewal via BLS Brampton on 1st OCT.
I don't expect the passport to arrive before my appointment. Is there a way
1. I can may be expedite my passport renewal process.
2. I can get my old passport back from consulate as it would expire in July 2020 so it is still more than 6 months.
3. Can I have my appointment date changed.
Any guidance would be deeply appreciated.

you should receive your passport before 10/16. i got mine in 10 days. submitted on 9/14 and received it on 9/25
Oh great Thanks that is reassuring. I have dropped an email to the embassy and will wait for a response else will go the embassy on Friday.
