Hi All,
I am a C.A. from India. As part of our curriculum, I had to do a mandatory 3 year internship under a Chartered Accountant. The internship had to be registered with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
While filing my PR application, we had mentioned the same and provided a letter from my internship employer (called the Principal) stating that I was a trainee under him for the said period and that it was a paid internship mandated by ICAI. We had also provided the letters issued by ICAI, acknowledging the beginning and termination of internship.
The immigration officer rejected my application saying that the internship letter is not enough.
We are refiling the application without mentioning the internship experience (as it does not affect my CRS) giving LOE for the same.
Ia this the right approach?
If yes, what shou;d be mentioned in the LOE?
If not, kindly suggest an alternative.
Thanks and Regards,
Neha Shah
