I have got into a big trouble. Any information would be helpful and appreciated. I am in toronto as of now with all my documents seized at immigrations. It's because IRCC could update my status from single to married. I got married after I received my COPR and informed CIC through mail and even raised web form but haven't heard anything from them until today. According to my COPR I had to land before 7th Oct 2019. And I landed on 2nd Oct with my same old COPR. And at the Canada immigration office in Toronto airport, I informed the officer about change in my status. Now my passport has been cease and they have given me a date on which I will have to visit them again to check with new decision which they make on my application.
I had no clue that I couldn't travel with my old COPR and moreover my spouse had no plans to accompany me anytime soon. So I have decided to go about with my old COPR and now have no clue what's next.
Do you guys got anything further?
Nope, the advice to get a lawyer is the best you can get. Also reach out to @legalfalcon and see if him and/or his firm can help you. Sorry about this, you must have been under a lot of pressure to get your life moving and getting married and everything. As someone else mentioned, at least you did your best to inform them and do not look like you were hiding anything - so at least someone generous can hopefully decide that this is not misrepresentation. You'll need goodwill and some good fortune - and some legal advice to let you know your best play.
Good luck and hang in there.
Congratulations what is your timelineHi guys!
After the ghost update on Oct. 2nd, the golden email came this morning. It seems some finalized application will be approved immediately after med extention.
Usually the agent code is mentioned in the GCMS notes. But it is not necessary that your file will remain with that agent. It may get transferred again after receiving the notes. Please note that we are just assuming that our files are with the same officer because we got the remedical request on the same day and we have the same AOR. We don't know for sure and it really doesn't matter. How can we make our whi is the officer working on our file
Sry - the info section has the answer to my question - my bad - did not see -Harry Congrats Bro ..
How long did it take for them to send you the RFV Email once all checks were passed and meds were under review ..
Mine is the same too - 3 weeks since file approved - still waiting on med decision ..
Thanks and Best Wishes !!
very normal: AOR Dec18; MEP Jan20; nothing else changed afterward; Oct 2 Ghost update (the Weir office let me know eligibility finalized on Sept 25); and PPR email Oct 4th.Congratulations what is your timeline
Congratulations.. even am in the same boat with military background and I believe am in SS as s.15 is also mentioned in my gcms notes. My AOR is 12 Nov.Finally.. its the PPR ladies and gentlemen.... I have been regularly reading the posts in the forum (even though I'm not exactly November AOR) and it immensely helped me to go through each of the stages. My case was a complex one since i had 7 years of military experience. My security started on 06 August and I believed I’m in SS since i had lot of pages in my GCMS which were blank with S (15). 1 or something as heading and also considering my history in military. Total pages on my GCMS was 153 . As per my experience i feel that even ones with military exposure does not go to SS by default. (as per people’s experiences here i never believed I would receive PPR this soon)
Anyway... all the very best to everyone in the forum and I wish you all speedy PPRs. If you need any help don't bother to tag and contact me.
CHEERS!!!!
