Should I confirm my landing appointment at IRCC?

So happy that we received an email with our call to attend the meeting for the last step (hopefully) in a painfully long 16 month process. My question is, should I reply to the CIC email? Doesn't say do not respond or anything.
Feels kind of weird not to confirm the appointment.

I don't believe that's required. Just turn up on time, with both Principal Applicant and Sponsor.
