Hi all,

I am a Canadian Citizen but I live in the US. I was wondering if my parents can apply for Super Visa or Visitor Visa when I am not living in Canada? They are Iranians.

Thanks

Regular visitor visa. Anyone can apply. Even those who do not know any Canadians.

supervisa would be a no.

For the regular visa, do they take into account that I am a citizen? Because they do not give visa to Iranians easily. I know that super visa would be easier.

No. They only take into account the probability that your parents will abide by their visa rules and that they can pay for their trip. Super visa is not easier for you since you do not live in Canada. Who would they be visiting in Canada for at least a year if you live in the US? Super visa approval will also take into account the same things as in a regular visa. It is actually quite weird that they would visit Canada if there is no one here to visit. US tourist visa are easier to be approved for, why not have them visit you there?

Have you heard about the Trump ban? US visa is off the table.
We all want to travel to Canada and meet for a few weeks, that's all. what do you think is the best way to do that?

Totally slipped my mind. I tune out anything related to Trump but yes I have heard I just forgot.

Tourist visa is the way to go. All my other answers remain.

Good day! I just want to ask if somebody here have an idea about parent super visa?..I would like to know if you need to do biometrics first before they process the application and send a medical request?.. We are planning to wait for the medical request so that my mother can do biometrics at the same time. Thank you..

Follow the application directions. No you don’t have to do biometrics before sending in the application.

already received the biometric letter. I would like to know if they will start processing you application once you have done your biometrics? because we want to wait for the medical request and do the biometrics at the same time so we can save time and money for the plane ticket to go to vfs office.

Would send a webform requesting this.
