Hi,
I applied for family sponsorship for my husband, we are married( oct 2018) . But i and my husband was in common law before.
Sept 2014- we start living together
Dec 2014- received my PR visa
July 2015- informed the CIC thru letter about change of status and address
Oct 2015- migrated to canada
So, we received an email today stating that we may under the exclusion coz i did not declare my husband at the time of application.
But technically we did live together for the full 1 yr coz we only live together during weekends. My husband was in his work that is away from the city and he has to stay there during weekdays.
We have 30 days to respond to their email, so we are thinking to write a letter explaining the situations and attached some documents like: work contract reflecting the area assignment of my husband, some pictures that he was in that area for different time and days, copies of emails that i informed the CIC about change of status.
Would that be enough for them to consider our applications? BTW, were towards the end of our applications, sponsorship, medical, bio are done.
Any advices would be appreciated. Thanks
