I want to make sure my application was delivered to the correct address, mine was received in Sydney Nova Scotia at SHIP DOCK by someone initialed his signature as "DK" .

Has anyone's application was received by the same person "DK"?

If someone arrive in Canada Sept 2015 as a permanent resident and never leave Canada,can they apply today for citizenship?
Or they have to wait until next year September.

Thank you,I was under the impression that they have to be permanent resident for 5 years and present in Canada for 3 years before applying.

1095 days in Canada. As a PR counts as 1:1, other status is 1:0.5.

I applied with well over 1095 days and only 2 and a bit as a PR.

Note these rules could change soon depending upon the upcoming election. Before the current guy got in it was 6 years as a PR and time before didn’t count if memory serves.

Of course it could also become much cheaper in a few months...
