Work Permit on Dependent Visa

Hi All,

I'm working in Canada for last 4 months with close work permit and my spouse just got her dependent visa on 3rd attempted. Her visa expiry date is exactly same as my work permit visa expiry date. It's not like 10 years of visitor visa.

Could you please let me know if she can request for open work permit at port of entry based on her dependent visa? If yes, then what will be the process of that?

Visitor record still need to be created if she will get work permit?

No, she can't apply at a POE. She needs to apply to change her status to worker after entering.
